How to assess a language school's offer
Here is a checklist for training managers and those in charge of human resources to assess the offers made by language providers:
- Does the school propose a needs analysis to determine the company’s language needs?
- Is this based on a transparent system of levels, such as the Common European Scale of Reference, so that the school can give a clear and realistic assessment of the time required to reach the level needed to reach objectives?
- Has the school got a proper assessment and reporting system for you to check on progress?
- Is it flexible enough to meet your varied range of training needs?
- Can you rely on getting appropriately qualified teachers?
- If you are an international firm, has your provider got partners in other countries who can provide the same standard of services?
Choose an EAQUALS training provider and all these points will receive a positive answer, backed by regular inspections, rigorous accreditation procedures. You will know that the school is part of an international organisation, at the leading edge of language training, and taking part in international projects, with the Council of Europe and the European Union.
