Individual membership
EAQUALS welcomes applications for Individual Membership from experienced language education professionals who:
- are appointed freelance EAQUALS inspectors, or
- work for state institutions, including universities, and have made a substantial contribution to EAQUALS projects, or:
- demonstrate that they can take an active part in and contribute to the development of EAQUALS, or:
- once worked for an EAQUALS Accredited or Associate member, and have now left their employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
Individual Members of EAQUALS:
- undertake to uphold the EAQUALS Professional Charter for Individual Members
- participate in EAQUALS events and projects at a reduced rate
- may join the EAQUALS electronic professional network
- have restricted access to EAQUALS resources (for personal use only)
- have no voting right in meetings of the Association,
- are not eligible for membership of the EAQUALS Board.
EAQUALS PROFESSIONAL CHARTER FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
Individual Members of EAQUALS share a commitment to:
- Conduct themselves professionally, honourably, and with integrity
- Participate in EAQUALS activities and contribute to the achievement of the Association’s aims
- Actively pursue their own professional development
- Treat students and colleagues equally irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, race or religion
- Take account of, and where it is relevant, comply with and implement, the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference in their work.
