EAQUALS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - APRIL 2012

The EAQUALS International Conference took place  at the SB (BCN) Events Hotel in Castelldefels (near Barcelona) on 19th - 21st April 2012.

The three day Conference, which had as its theme ‘Best Practice in Teacher Education and Management’ was hosted by IH Barcelona and generously sponsored and supported by the British Council, ELC Group, Pearson Testing, Macmillan, Oxford University Press and Trinity.

The Conference included inspector training, workshops, plenaries and special interest projects.
Plenary speakers included Jim Scrivener, Head of Teacher Development at Bell International; Michael Legutke, Professor Emeritus of TEFL at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany; Barry Tomalin, Director of Cultural training at IH London and Jonathan Dykes, our host and Chief Executive of the IHLS Group.

The event attracted a record number of participants and was a great success.
