Following the pandemic and substantial teacher turnover we implemented a teaching training system for new and existing teachers, to ensure our teachers would be supported in lesson delivery in a way that takes into account the wide variety of knowledge and experience in our staffrooms.
In this session we will discuss how we developed a diagnostic induction and series of micro trainings with the aim of creating a more personalised approach to development. Based on the Visible Learning research we will talk about how we encourage teachers to develop a dialogue with their peers and academic managers to put them at the centre of their own learning.
