The hybrid classroom is understood as the classroom situation where some of the students are physically present in the classroom and the remainder are attending the class online.
Eaquals members began running hybrid lessons at the beginning of the pandemic and have continued with this over the last 14 months. This has resulted in the gathering of ideas and experience in relation to teaching in the hybrid classroom which members are keen to share in order to work towards best practice in this area.
An initial survey on hybrid learning was carried out by Eaquals members NILE, CES and IH Manchester and can be accessed here.
We are now inviting members to attend our community discussion which will be led by institutions within Eaquals Associate Member AISLi who will share their ideas and experiences of the hybrid classroom.
