Joanna Morrison Jones

She currently works at the British School Pisa where she is the Director of Studies, managing teachers and courses for Young Learners through to adults.  Throughout the pandemic they have been innovating constantly and finding ways to make sure that all of their learners can continue to participate in their courses and in the life of the school.  They have used a hybrid model to maintain group cohesion and give students the flexibility that they need to be in class or at home.  She has been teaching English since 2003 working with all age groups and levels.  She is CELTA qualified and has a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics. She has a specific interest in learner autonomy and ensuring that all learners reach their learner goals.  

Prem Sourek

Prem Sourek

Prem works as Director of Studies for a language school in the north of Italy, where he is in charge of academic management and CELTA training. He is a qualified secondary school teacher as well as a holder of the CELTA, TYLEC and the Delta. He teaches young learners, teenagers and adults (online, face-to-face, hybrid) and provides IT support to anyone in the school. At the moment, he is spending his free time designing a website for a project he is starting with his partner, who is a teacher of Italian for foreigners.
