Donghua University, International Cultural Exchange School (Shanghai)
Donghua University (DHU) was founded in 1951 and approved as the state-key university in 1960. It is one of the 75 universities that are under the direct management of the Ministry of Education of China, and one of the universities that accepted international students as early as 1954.
International Cultural Exchange School (ICES) locates on DHU's Yan'an road campus, which is seated in the downtown area of Shanghai, and provides kinds of long-term and short-term Chinese language programs. Over 3000 international students study at ICES each year not only to improve their Chinese proficiency but understand more about Chinese culture and society.
