International Cultural Exchange School, Donghua University (Shanghai China)

Donghua University (DHU) was founded in 1951 and approved as the state-key university in 1960. It is one of the 75 universities that are under the direct management of the Ministry of Education of China, and one of the first batch of universities that accepted international students since 1954.

International Cultural Exchange School (ICES) locates on DHU's Yan'an Road campus, which is seated in the downtown area of Shanghai. ICES provides kinds of Chinese language programs of different lengths to meet the needs of different types of students. The courses are offered both in-person and online. Thousands of international students study at ICES each year to improve their Chinese proficiency and learn more about Chinese culture and society.
