Sabancı University School of Languages

Sabancı University School of Languages (SL) was established in 1997, in the same year as the establishment of Sabancı University and all its other academic and administrative units. The first academic year for both the university and the SL was 1999-2000. Since then, the SL has been providing intensive English preparatory programs; Freshman English courses; Turkish Language and Literature courses; and World Languages Courses to Sabancı students. In the Academic Year 2009-2010, the SL started offering a new course, ‘Professional Communication Skills in English’ (PCSE) to post-Freshman students. Since then, the course is being offered to all Sabancı students and is compulsory for students studying in the School of Management.
