Beata Schmid

Dr Beata Schmid oversees teacher training and international compliance at EF and has managed Eaquals accreditation of 11 schools in 5 years. Her specialisms include quality standards, pronunciation and technology. For 9 years on the board of EnglishUSA, including Past President; Beata organised lobbying US Congress resulting in a 2013 bill ensuring mandatory accreditation of intensive language study programs. Formerly on the Board, executive and standards committee, and evaluator of ACCET, a US accreditor, Beata has an MA and PhD in Linguistics from Brown University and has taught languages, including English, for 30 years.
