Yanbu English Language Institute, Royal Commission Colleges and Institutes

Yanbu English Language Institute was originally founded in 1985 as the English Language Department at Yanbu Industrial College, an English-medium-of-instruction institution in Yanbu Al-Sinaiyyah. As part of the Royal Commission for Yanbu’s Colleges and Institutes Division, YELI was granted autonomous status in 2012 (as the English Language Center at Yanbu) and charged with responsibility for all English language education and services within the Royal Commission and the wider Yanbu Al-Sinaiyyah area. The institution was renamed Yanbu English Language Institute in 2016.
