Dermot Twomey, Head of CES Online, was nominated by Peter Loftus, Director of Studies at CES.

“When the order to close came through, CES, like many other schools, had to make the transition to online lessons. Thanks to Dermot, we managed to do this in just one day. This meant continuity of lessons and equally importantly of contact for the students. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from them shows how much his efforts are appreciated. Dermot also had to lead a team that rapidly developed materials and systems and trained teachers in the art of teaching online. He has worked extremely hard throughout to ensure CES quality is maintained in this new medium and has done so with his customary good humour and grace.”
