Challenges of Today in ELT

The upcoming event, supported through the Eaquals Member Event Fund, demonstrates exemplary international and regional cooperation, as five esteemed language teaching institutions and associations unite to bring you ‘Challenges of Today in ELT.’ This event is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices, collectively aiming to tackle the evolving challenges of English Language Teaching in the 21st century.

The “Challenges of Today in ELT” initiative is a collaborative effort led by QLS (Quality in Language Services Greece), YALS (the Serbian Association for Language Services), QUEST ROMANIA (the Romanian Association for Quality Language Services), OPTIMA (the Bulgarian Association for Quality Language Services), and Ozyegin University in Turkiye. This event exemplifies effective cooperation within the Eaquals network. It will explore a range of pertinent topics including Artificial Intelligence in ELT, Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking, Digital Acceleration in Education, and more.

In addition to the plenary sessions, the event will feature a variety of talks and workshops aimed at engaging and actively involving participants. The organizers believe in the effectiveness of hands-on learning experiences and have curated a diverse range of offerings to cater to every attendee’s interest and professional development needs.

Attendees are encouraged to save the date for 27th April 2024, and bring along colleagues and friends to Athens, who share the same passion for advancing the quality of language teaching to embark on a journey to elevate the field of ELT to new heights.
