Group of people standing in front of SEDA College CorkIn recent years, SEDA College has expanded its reach beyond the bustling streets of Dublin, venturing into the vibrant city of Cork. This strategic move marked a significant milestone for SEDA, and much like their Dublin branch, the Cork campus embodies the same unwavering dedication to quality and excellence in language education. As part of their ongoing pursuit of excellence, the Cork branch has also undergone the rigorous accreditation process with Eaquals, reaffirming their commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality education regardless of location.

SEDA Cork is situated in the historic centre of Cork City. The city centre is an island between two channels of the River Lee which meet downstream to lead out to Cork Harbour, one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Originally founded in the 6th century as a monastic settlement, Cork was expanded by Viking invaders around 915. Over the centuries, Cork has evolved into a vibrant center for education and international commerce, embodying a rich legacy of cultural exchange and trade.

This makes it the perfect location for SEDA, to build connections between people from all over the world throughGroup of people teaching and learning.  Their school in Cork welcomes both adult and junior learners to learn English with short courses for European learners, as well as courses that comply with the conditions of the Irish International Student visa.

Adult students love Cork because the city is a bustling commercial hub which attracts a large number of multinational companies particularly in the areas of technology and pharmaceuticals.  At the same time, it is the gateway to the West of Ireland, providing easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and some of the most beautiful and wild countryside in Europe.

Jane Langley, Academic Director at Seda said “it was our goal from the onset to attain Eaquals accreditation for our Cork school.  SEDA Cork is affiliated to SEDA Dublin, which has been an Eaquals member since 2014.  We are proud of our long association with Eaquals.  Being part of the Eaquals Family has brought us increased confidence in delivering quality.  The support that Eaquals provides enables us to continually innovate in a way that further develops collaborative learning and pluricultural understanding. The quality standards that Eaquals define have made our organisation a happy place both to work and to learn.”
