As an Eaquals associate member, Oxford University Press (OUP) continues to make strides in language assessment. Recently, their Oxford Test of English Advanced has achieved certification and recognition from the University of Oxford, further solidifying its reputation in the field of English language proficiency testing.

The Oxford Test of English Advanced has been recognized and certified by the University of Oxford for assessing learners’ English language proficiency in both undergraduate and graduate admissions.

Starting from September, students have the opportunity to include this innovative test as part of their application for entry in 2025 to the University of Oxford, joining a global cohort of over 600 institutions that recognize the Oxford Test of English suite.

The University of Oxford, known for its excellence in learning, teaching, and research, is the oldest university in the English-speaking world. It has ranked first in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings since 2017 and is a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities.

The Oxford Test of English Advanced, tailored for advanced English language learners, allows candidates to demonstrate fluency at B2 to C1 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). It is the sole proficiency test both certified and recognized by the University of Oxford, now approved for undergraduate as well as postgraduate admissions.
